Contractor will be knowledgeable of Army/Joint counterintelligence procedures, doctrine and practices; and data processing systems such as CIDNE, DSOMS, CHIMS or its replacement system and SIPRNET search engines. 20.1.1.1. DUTIES:

•Identifying and responding to security regulation violations or potential violations. Responding to transportation security incidents and other pertinent incidents as defined by the National Incident Management Systems or as directed by the Federal Security Director.
•Performing tests and audits; validating and inspecting security processes, procedures, systems, and equipment in connection with compliance inspections and vulnerability assessments.
•Providing input to written analyses of inspections and assessments and determining the adequacy of corrective measures required to improve security posture or to restore compliance.
•Conducting investigations related to alleged or suspected transportation security violations. Identifying, collecting, and preserving evidence used to support enforcement actions. •Conducting and participating in regular training with assigned working dog to maintain acceptable performance levels and providing necessary health maintenance care, feeding/watering, and grooming of working dogs. You will be responsible for ensuring that assigned canine is correctly certified and accredited and for maintaining appropriate training records, as required.
•Serving as a technical expert and key point of contact on transportation security regulations for assigned industry operations and demonstrating substantial knowledge and understanding of a secondary specialty (cargo, aviation, or surface) sufficient to provide specialized support as necessary.
Note: As a TSI (EDCH), you may work with explosives in the training and support of teams. Additionally, you may perform inventory of hazardous materials. In all cases when you are in close proximity to live or otherwise dangerous explosives, you must exercise caution and follow prescribed techniques to ensure utmost safety and protection while handling of such explosives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To qualify for the SV-I Pay Band (equivalent to GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to SV-H Pay Band or GS-11/12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience includes a substantive background in Federal, state, or local law enforcement which included work as an EDCH in law enforcement and homeland security efforts at local, state, or Federal levels. This includes experience with Federal regulations governing security, transport, and safe handling of live explosive substances used as canine training aids.

These specialists serve as members of a multi-discipline team performing tasks directly related to the Global War on Terrorism, focused on countering improvised explosive devices.

Interested personnel must possess a DoD TS/SCI Clearance and be capable of performing missions in a small unit accompanying US and Coalition forces in various remote locations, including high threat environments worldwide. The JET Operator is issued full equipment to include weapons, so as to blend unobtrusively with the assigned unit.

K2 Solutions Inc. is seeking Law Enforcement Professionals to serve on a unique team supporting the Joint IED Defeat Organization in Northern Virginia, assisting the Counter IED Operations/Intelligence Integration Center (COIC) with Counter-IED (C-IED) Attack the Network (AtN) operations. - Identify emerging criminal trends and methods of operation in order to detect and interdict networks associated with the sourcing, production, delivery and emplacement of IEDs.

- Compile, build and manage detainee related intelligence information for exploitation during detainee interrogations in support of Requests for Support from the Theater.

Experience and Education:

These positions require broadly gauged experts that have a minimum of 15 years civilian law enforcement experience with a large metropolitan police force or federal law enforcement agency and have practical experience and expertise in criminal investigations, undercover work, counter-drug operations, liaison work with foreign law enforcement entities, experience with counter-terrorism investigations, and/or experience investigating and prosecuting criminal gangs.

Required:

- A minimum of 5 years investigative experience in a large civilian police department or federal law enforcement agency.
