Like most inventions, our holsters were created out of necessity. After trying many of the same holsters that our customers have carried, we decided to design a holster that could not only be carried all day, but could be carried all day comfortably.

Comfort

Comfort was our biggest motivation in the design of our unique holsters. Each Series of Nate Squared Tactical holsters are made from quality oil-tanned leather, neoprene, and suede leather. Each holster is hand crafted to ensure the highest quality possible. We firmly stand behind the quality & craftsmanship of every holster we build.

The oil-tanned leather will provide a durable, yet safe contact for the handgun.

The soft suede backing allows your skin to breathe, so even when you sweat against the holster, it will still feel cool. The natural friction coefficient of suede displaces a percentage of the weight of your firearm. This allows you to carry the firearm without it’s total weight pulling down against your waistband. It is the suede that allows us to utilize a design with a single clip.

Neoprene is sandwiched between the oil-tanned leather and the suede leather. The neoprene provides the padding to protect you from the various edges of the firearm (slide, rear sight, hammer, beavertail, etc.) even when sitting in a vehicle, but also protects your investment. Neoprene (what wetsuits are made of) is waterproof, creating a moisture barrier that will not allow sweat or skin acids to come in contact with your handgun.

Description

The Huskey MK II EWS (Expeditionary Warfare Sling *Patent Pending*)

For years the debate has raged over two point sling mechanisms. Cam locking or Quick adjust. The Cam slings have the benefit of allowing an over tightening when the shooter needs to be hands-free of the weapon system at the expense of quick manipulation of the sling to complement the shooting position chosen by the shooter. The quick adjust two points have the ability to quickly tighten and loosen as deemed necessary by the shooter, but can only tighten half the distance of the webbing the slider piece is attached to. This leaves a choice between tightening for hands free or for shooting position. This argument has created a schism between operators worldwide and the slings they choose to bring the fight.

Welcome to the next generation of weapon system control. The Huskey MK II EWS is NOT a compromise between the two ideologies. It is an answer to what is demanded from a two point sling by war fighters. The Huskey MKII was over a year in the making. A joint venture between Ares Armor and Impact Weapons Components, the culmination of this project bridged the gap in the debate over which type of 2 point sling is more versatile. The MKII EWS, designed primarily as a quick adjust two point for kinetic operations shooting, carries over the ease of adjustability vital for the three dimensional battlefield. The MKII slider easily allows the ability to over tighten from the same slider piece when the operator must go hands free in order to mitigate obstacles, rappelling and fast-roping, amphibious operations, airborne operations and EVERY other facet of warfare. It features all metal components and 1.25″ nylon webbing for durability deserved by today’s gunfighters.
